TOWN ADMINISTRATOR
The Town Administrator is the chief administrative officer
of the Town. This responsibility includes implementation of
Board policies and directives. The Administrator is also
responsible for overall planning, coordination and support
for Town operations, the Administrator has oversight
responsibilities for the four major departments, including
Administration, Building and Planning, Police and Public
Works.

TOWN CLERK
The Town Clerk's office maintains official records of the
Town, conducting elections, administering licenses and
serves as Clerk to the Town Board. The following provides
additional information and links to forms concerning the
different functions of the Clerk’s Office. You may contact

Business Licenses – The Town
of Fairplay requires that every person engaged in
business shall obtain a business license from the
Town of Fairplay. In addition to the standard
business license, the City also requires special
licenses for massage parlors, liquor establishments,
transient merchants and special events. The annual
fee for a business license is $25. Please complete
the
Business License Application and return it to
the Town of Fairplay with the appropriate fee. |
Board of Trustees Meeting Agendas – The Fairplay Town Board holds its regular
meetings on the 1st and 3rd Monday of each month at
7:00 p.m. at the Fairplay Town Hall located at 901
Main Street in the lower level Meeting Room. All
meetings are open to the public. If you would like
to have an item placed on a Town Board agenda,
please contact the Town Clerk's Office.
Agenda’s
are posted on the Town’s website by 5:00 p.m. on the
Friday preceding the Board meeting. |
Liquor Licenses - A liquor
license is required for anyone in the business of
selling alcoholic beverages. Please contact the Town
Clerk's Office for additional information on
obtaining a liquor license in the Town of Fairplay. |

Minutes of Town Board meetings are posted
on the Town's website when completed. This is
usually within two weeks of the meeting date. |
Fairplay Municipal Code –
The Fairplay Municipal Code is a codification of all
the ordinances currently in effect in the Town of
Fairplay. These are the local laws adopted by the
Fairplay Board of Trustees. |
Elections - The next regular
municipal election for the Town of Fairplay will be
held on April 8, 2014. |
TOWN TREASURER
The Finance department provides the accounting, budgeting,
utility billing, human resources, payroll and investing
services for the Town. The following provides additional
information and links to forms concerning the different

Budget Document – The Fairplay Board of Trustees annually
adopts a budget for the Town of Fairplay. The budget sets
the work program for the town of Fairplay for the upcoming
year and includes operational expenses, capital projects and
debt service. |
Fee Schedule – This document includes fees charged by the
Town of Fairplay for certain services, including water rates
for the current year. Also included is information regarding
utility billing procedures, payment options and delinquent
accounts. |

form is required to be completed prior to transferring a
utility account into a renter’s name. |
